By accessing and using kols.co.uk you agree to these Terms & Conditions. KOLS provides bespoke tailoring services, custom clothing orders, fittings, ready-to-wear and related products.
1. Definitions
- “Seller” refers to KOLS.
- “Customer” or “Client” refers to the individual or entity placing an order.
- “Goods” refers to bespoke garments and related products provided by the Seller.
- “Order” means the Customer's request for bespoke tailoring services as accepted by the Seller.
- “Contract” refers to the agreement between the Seller and the Customer for the supply of Goods based on these Terms.
2. Orders and acceptance
- All orders must be confirmed in writing (email or physical form).
- The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order at its sole discretion.
- An order is accepted once the Seller confirms acceptance via email or in writing.
- The Seller will provide an estimate and detailed specifications prior to commencement.
3. Pricing and payment
- All prices are listed in £ and are quoted at the time of order, subject to change without notice.
- Payment is due upon order confirmation. Bespoke commissions may require a minimum 50% deposit, with the balance due upon completion.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe (card), or other agreed methods.
- Failure to pay the balance by the agreed date may result in delays or cancellation.
4. Measurements and fittings
- The Customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements, or booking an appointment for measurements to be taken.
- The Seller recommends attending scheduled fittings to ensure proper fit.
- Rescheduling appointments is possible with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Additional fittings or corrections requested after final approval may incur extra charges.
5. Design, fabric, and customisation
- The Seller produces garments based on the specifications agreed upon.
- Fabric choices and design details are confirmed before production.
- Any modifications after confirmation may incur additional costs.
- The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by fabric availability or supply issues.
6. Turnaround time
- Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of order but are not guaranteed.
- The Seller will notify the Customer of any delays as soon as possible.
- The Seller is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, supplier issues, or force majeure.
7. Alterations and final approval
- Minor alterations are included within the initial price.
- Major alterations requested after the garment is finalised may incur additional charges.
- The Customer approves the final garment before delivery. Once accepted, no further claims or alterations will be accepted.
8. Cancellation and refunds
- Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement for a full refund.
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has started, and are non-refundable unless defective.
- Any request for a refund or exchange must be made within 7 days of delivery. See our Returns & Refunds policy.
9. Care and maintenance
The Seller recommends following the provided care instructions and is not responsible for damage caused by improper care.
10. Intellectual property
All design rights, patterns, and intellectual property remain the property of the Seller. The Customer may not reproduce or distribute designs without prior written consent.
11. Liability
The Seller's liability is limited to the price of the Goods supplied. The Seller is not liable for damages arising from misuse, improper care, or external factors, nor for delays caused by third-party couriers.
12. Data protection
The Seller complies with GDPR. Personal data is used only for order processing and, where opted in, marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
